Program Mission Statement

The mission of the Smith Intermediate Counseling Department is to utilize the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs to address the academic, personal, and social needs of all students. Counselors will partner with all stakeholders, including parents/guardians, staff members, and community organizations, to ensure that students are equipped with skills and resources for lifelong success.
